From Selection to Exhibition
From the first steps of selecting passionate storytellers to the final showcase in immersive exhibitions, Climate Connections UG is a journey of collaboration, creativity, and impact. Participants will be guided through a structured process, developing skills in multimedia storytelling while engaging directly with communities. Each phase builds on the last, ensuring a rich and transformative experience that captures the essence of climate action.
1. Storyteller Recruitment &
Team Formation
Selecting passionate students and forming interdisciplinary teams with expertise in photography, videography, and storytelling.
2. Community Immersion & Fieldwork
Connecting with communities, starting with Mulranny (Mayo), to document sustainability efforts through multi-media storytelling.
3. Story Creation &
Refinement
Producing compelling photo, video, and written narratives, followed by selection and jurying of the most impactful stories.
4. Showcasing &
Public Engagement
Presenting selected stories through immersive exhibitions on campus and in community spaces to inspire broader climate action.
